Severe problems with cataracts and glaucoma are widespread in the nation of Peru due to inadequate equipment. The Church donated special equipment to help fix these problems. The Church also partnered with the Ministry of Education to screen children for vision impairments. Many children who once struggled in school can now receive a better education because they can see. They are proud of themselves and of their accomplishments and are better able to improve their lives with enhanced vision.
