Priesthood Response to the 2010 Chile Earthquake

As a result of the 8.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Chile on February 27, 2010, food and supply markets in the city of Constitucion were closed. The people had nothing to rely on but what they had already stored in their homes. Recognizing the emergency situation, priesthood members of the LDS Church transferred food, blankets, and tents from a nearby bishops' storehouse to the members and nonmembers who needed the supplies.
